Arriving from the International Airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino (TAXI service)

For some years, there has been a set price for the taxis traveling between Rome and its two airports. From the Airport of Fiumicino to the center of the city of Rome (anywhere within the Aurelian Walls, which substantially include the central tourist area), a taxi ride should cost exactly € 48 (the rate includes luggage transportation and up to four passengers). This rate also applies to the opposite direction. Traffic aside, it is a fast, comfortable and not too expensive way to get to Rome if you are traveling with a group. The great advantage of the taxi is that it takes you directly to your hotel, without the inconvenience of carrying your luggage on pebbles or on public transport. The taxi car parking at the Airport of Ciampino is just outside the terminal building. From the Airport of Ciampino, the ride should cost € 30.
